2013 BATA AGRO – a show to remember

In 2010, the Bulgarian Association of importers launched its most ambitious project, called Bata Agro. The goal was obvious since the beginning: to offer a modern outdoor exhibition where the farmers can find the machines that they need. The international specialized exhibition of Bata Agro achieved an outstanding growth since the moment it all became reality. Today, in 2013, we are glad and pleased to be part of the biggest agricultural exhibition in the Balkans.

This years’ exhibition gathered a record number of exhibitor companies. No less than 193 companies took pride in presenting their products and representing the world wide famous brands.

In terms of audience, BATA AGRO was the place to be. 18.000 visitors came to this event, to be a part of what is today the best agriculture show. The latest information about the developed technology in soil preparation, tractors and combines was presented to the farmers.  The organizers made sure that everything is going well and have increased the exhibition ground space to a record of 41.200 square meters.

STROM-BEDNAR in Bata Agro

This year, we marked the third consecutive presence on the Bata Agro exhibition. We have celebrated our new image and name by a unique stand in the Megatron reserved area.
Located close to the main entrance in the exhibition, our stand was one of the centers of interest. The large number of farmers that visited us proves this point. All of the visitors were welcomed to take a look at the displayed machines and to spend some time with us and to talk about agriculture. The perfect weather for an outdoor exhibition ensured that no matter from what area of the country the farmer is, he will be pleased to take part in this event.

Machines on display

300 square meters was just the right size of stand for our machines.
Swifter, Atlas, Terraland, SwifterDisc and Finisher were the stars of our stand. We have tried to present a complete solution for the farmers that are working in Bulgaria, no matter if they are using the traditional or the minimum tillage type of systems.
The Atlas AO 6000(6 m) represented the center of attention. The maintenance free disc harrow and the advantages that it offers have drawn the attention of the visitors. The configuration included the front support wheel, the notched 620 x 6 mm discs, the V-ring roller and the suspension for the transport axle. The heavy independent disc harrow was just right for a couple of farmers that have decided to purchase an ATLAS, during BATA AGRO.
The seedbed expert, the Swifter SO 5000(5 m) was also present on our stand. Already a model known on the Bulgarian market, present for several years in the farms of the local customers, the Swifter was a “must have” on the stand.
For this machine we have chosen a configuration suitable for the Bulgarian soil: shares, Crosskill rear rollers and rear leveling bar behind the rollers. The density of active organs and the one-of-a-kind type of construction make the Swifter the most desired seedbed cultivator. The fact that the Swifter is part of the Swifter Concept family adds just one more advantage to the already long list.
The SwifterDisc XO 6000(6 m) disc harrow was also present in our stand. Just perfect for shallow stubble cultivation, in a configuration with V-ring roller, the machines’ quality working process is a certainty, as more and more Bulgarian farmers acknowledge.
The versatile cultivator, the Finisher FE 4500 (4.5 m)had also its share of attention. Working already for more than 4 years the Bulgarian soils, the machine was found appropriate for the farmers that want to prepare the seedbed in difficult conditions. The front row of discs (560 x 5 mm) helps cut the vegetation before the shares prepare the soil. The whole working process is finished by the tine rods and the bar roller.
The Terraland TN 4000 D9R chisel plough (4 m, 9 working bodies) took the center place in the stand. Its proven agronomical advantages showed the farmers once more the need for such a machine in their farm. The Alform body of the chisel plough offers the machine the needed robustness for the difficult conditions under which the machine works.

CREDITS

We would like to thank first of all to the visitors, farmers and clients that were present at BATA AGRO and in our stand. All of our products are the results of their needs. We could not succeed without the valuable information offered by them.
We need to thank the wonderful Megatron team that made the exhibition possible. From logistic, to stand preparation, marketing and presenting of our products – everything is a realization of the hard work done by them.

Thank you all!
