The last week of November 2012, gave most of the Danish farmers the opportunity to have a look at the latest developments across the entire agricultural sectors. The exhibition in Herning lasted for four days and was attended by an incredible 45 000 visitorsof which 5000 were foreign. The STROM BEDNAR exhibition stand took up 180 m2 with the support of the Danish distributor Maskinhandler Indkøbsringen.

Interests’ farmers

STROM Bednar participated in the Agromek Exhibition for the third time; however this time the interest shown from domestic and foreign farmers was a lot bigger. Most of the attention was aimed at the Terraland TN_RT.  To quote one of the farmers, “This technology is more unknown than known in Denmark, but can be very useful for the wet parts on our fields, so that the water would be sucked into the soil and won´t lie on the top layer. The clay environment in most of our fields would provide the Terraland with a proper test.”

Dealer’s satisfaction

“The interest in the machines is excellent. Our current customers are coming to see the latest developments from STROM BEDNAR and are recently approaching the stand very frequently. I expect to lay the foundations for demonstrations over the next six months, machines such as sub-soilers like the Terraland and cultivators like the Fenix FO have huge potential in Danish agriculture”, said product line manager Henrik Kobæk from Maskinhandler Indkøbsringen.

Event news from STROM Bednar at Agromek

We have introduced 3 new products, the Terraland TN_RT for deep soil loosening with a Roadpacker at the end used for the finest compaction of the top soil layer. Another innovation is the SwifterDisc XO_F disc cultivator, designed for high speed work with an integrated axle. The SwifterDisc was equipped with an ALFA drill for seeding covering crops. The other new comer is the versatile FENIX FO which has been designed for shallow stubble cultivation or deep loosening, with the option of working without rear packers due the integrated axle. The Fenix can be equipped with an ALFA drill as well.
