The fair is held at the local airfield every second year and this time it is the 17th in its history. Year 2010 we had 400 exhibitors and 50 000 visitors. OKRA  is organized by the charity organization Oripää Lions Club with the help of hundreds local volunteers.

Konefarmi Oy, Strom's recently obtained partner, is the third largest implements' distributor in Finland achieving annual sale of more than € 25 million (combined with sister company Turunkeskus).  Konefarmi and Turunkonekeskus operate from the same premises, however whereas Konefarmi deals with professional farmer products and sells through own sales force directly to end users, Turunkonekeskus targets small scale and hobby farms from own shops and private dealer network.  The joint stand spread on 10.000 m2, one of the largest at the show alone and absolutely the largest if taken together with neighboring Valtra's, native Finnish tractor manufacturer, now part of AGCO, stand.  Neighborhood of Valtra was attracting biggest crowds of visitors.

Strom mulchers enjoyed a lot of interest

Strom machines made Konefarmi's salesmen sweating. They were taking many notes from interested customers.  Farmers were pointing out the strength and quality built in mulchers.

Good growth in flat market

The owner and managing director of Konefarmi and Turunkonekeskus Passi Vesamo was happy about success at the show and general business development.  According to him Konefarmi's sales are 5 and Turunkonekeskus' 15% up from previous year while overall market is flat. "Strom products are one of the reasons of growth," he admits.

Good neighbors! Konefarmi and native Finnish tractor manufacturer Valtra both benefit from long lived co-operation.  Their stands were neighboring at the show too. Strom products could not complain about lack of interest throughout the show
