Performance is the key to spring

Seedbed preparation in the springtime is usually very quick affair. The transition of winter to summer has hastened in recent years. The spring is shorter, resulting in the window for sowing the spring crops is getting ever shorter. Time can be saved by machines with higher operating speeds and larger working widths.

Seedbed preparation in the springtime is usually very quick affair. The transition of winter to summer has hastened in recent years. The spring is shorter, resulting in the window for sowing the spring crops is getting ever shorter. Time can be saved by machines with higher operating speeds and larger working widths.

The STROM Swifter SE and SM are machines whose performances have impressed on many large farms throughout Europe and Asia. With an operating width of 8 to 18 meters, these machines significantly reduce the time it takes to prepare a seedbed.

Creating a seedbed with a wide working width. Just 1 pass to create a uniform seedbed.

Wave-flex system

The individual sections are independently mounted on to the side frames. The independent mounting component allows you to follow the surface across the entire  working width of the machine. The Wave-flex system ensures the development of a uniform seedbed over the whole working width of the machines, even in very rugged terrain.

Sugar beet, corn, spring barley etc. are crops for the Swifter. Easy to transport, transportation width 3m, transportation height 4m.

Just one pass

A perfectly smooth field is essential for the seed to drop to the same depth across the whole working width of the planter or drill machine. This guarantees a uniform and steady growth. Sowing preparation is often a very labour-intensive operation, especially after a frosty winter or a dry summer. Levelling the land and grinding the clods, costs time and fuel. Preparing a seedbed in just 1 pass and ensuring a uniform growth, is the factor that makes a difference to your wallet. After the seedbed is ready and free of clods, the field will respond to you and your drill(planter) with the same TLC as you have shown it.
