A FRONT-MOUNTED HOPPER FOR FERTILISER APPLICATION IN ONE PASS

FERTI-BOX FB_F is a single-chamber hopper with a capacity of 1,900 litres. The FERTI-BOX FB_F Dual model provides two chambers with a capacity of 2,200 litres, each at the ratio of 40:60. The front hopper is suitable for connection with mounted or trailed machines using the rear three-point hitch of the tractor.

The front-mounted FERTI-BOX FB_F and FB_F Dual can be used for supply fertilisation in combination with machines for deep soil cultivation such as TERRALAND TN or TN_PROFI chisel ploughs. The double-chamber model can be used for variable of two types of fertiliser.

The front-mounted FERTI-BOX FB_F and FB_F Dual can be also used in strip-till soil cultivation when fertiliser is applied into the soil profile in combination with STRIP-MASTER EN or TERRASTRIP ZN cultivators.

The hopper can also be used for seeds in combination with the CORSA CN seeding bar. The double-chamber model, FB_F Dual, offers an interesting option of applying two types of seeds, or seeding together with supplementary fertilisation, when fertiliser can be placed in every other row, or mixed with seeds in the distribution pipes.

To apply fertiliser during cultivation, or seeding catch crop in cultivated inter-rows, the front FERTI-BOX FB_F hopper can be combined with the ROW-MASTER cultivator.

ONE OR TWO HOPPERS

Single-chamber and double-chamber FERTI-BOX FB_F hopper.

The double-chamber model, front-mounted FERTI-BOX FB_F Dual hopper is especially suitable for application of two types of fertiliser. The hopper chambers are divided in the ratio of 40:60. Thanks to the two metering units, the application batch can be set individually for each type of fertiliser.

PRESSURISED HOPPER MODEL

Increases precision and provides applications of high amounts.

Overpressure is created in the hopper thanks to the airtight closure. The pressurised design increases the quality of fertiliser batching precision, even in the case of higher application amounts, or lower-quality fertiliser.

STAINLESS METERING UNIT

Batch size according to the agronomic need.

The metering unit is made of stainless steel and driven by an electric motor, as a result of this the dispensed amount is precise at any speed. It is equipped with a GPS speed sensor.

Seeding rollers.

Our portfolio includes various types of seeding rollers for the application of different fertiliser and seed sizes. We offer seeding rollers from 30 cm³ to 790 cm³.

EASY CONTROL

Using BEDNAR ISOBUS systems or terminals.

Setting the batches and hopper control is very easy. The FERTI-BOX FB mounted hopper can be controlled using ISOBUS on the tractor display, or using BEDNAR terminals, starting with the ME TOUCH SMART 570 terminal to ME TOUCH 800 with a touch display and a diagonal measurement of 8″.

Safe both in the field and on the road.

Front-mounted FERTI-BOX FB_F hoppers are shaped in a way that ensures safe work. The tractor cabin provides an excellent view of the space in front of the hopper, thanks to the inclination of its top part. The hopper is also equipped with lights for transport and efficient lighting for working at night.

Pressurised hopper

The single/double-chamber pressurised hopper with a total capacity of 1,900/2,200 litres provides precise batching of high amounts of fertiliser.

Front packer

The front tyre packer fills in the gap between the tractor tracks. It is also used for reducing the load on the front three-point hitch of the tractor.

PRESSURISED HOPPER

The pressure pushes fertiliser through the metering unit. Thanks to this design, FERTI-BOX can apply even lower-quality fertilisers or higher amounts of fertiliser in a better and more precise way.

AGRONOMICAL GUIDE

PROFILE FERTILISATION
The application of fertiliser into the soil environment known as profile fertilisation should be carried out together with depth loosening using FENIX cultivators, combined ACTROS cultivators or TERRALAND chisel ploughs. Such precisely placed fertiliser motivates the root system to grow faster and bigger which helps solve current issues with soil moisture. This fertiliser placement system is most often used for establishing deep-rooting crops such as corn, sugar beet or oilseed rape.
