8th TechAgro for BEDNAR
The BEDNAR exposition with an area of 1,300 m2 was, as usual, divided into two parts – indoor and outdoor. Sixteen BEDNAR machines were presented to the TechAgro visitors at the exposition. The SWIFTERDISC XE 14000 wide disc cultivator with an operating width of 14 metres was the most popular. Also, the ATLAS AN 3000 mounted disc cultivator with a disc diameter of 620 mm was introduced for the first time. The concept of precise fertilization using the FERTI-BOX hopper dominated the indoor display.
“TechAgro is very important for us as domestic manufacturers. The Czech Republic is one of our stronger markets and therefore we want to show our best. However, TechAgro is not only a Czech fair, it is also well-known abroad. That is why we were very pleased with the huge interest of farmers in at our exposition. The fact that the Minister of Agriculture, Marian Jurečka, visited our exposition with a foreign delegation shows that BEDNAR is a well known brand. The situation in Czech agriculture is not easy at present but we still managed to sign several new orders and negotiate many more. Nevertheless, TechAgro is not only about the trade, it is also about friendly meetings with users of our machines and other partners. I think that this year’s TechAgro was very successful,” Ing. David Ryčl, Business Manager for the Czech Republic.
BEDNAR machines were also successful in the competition for the silver medal of the Agricultural Weekly and Grand Prix TechAgro. The coulter working sections for the Omega sowing machine was awarded a silver medal and the FERTI-BOX and the TERRALAND chisel plough were nominated for Grand Prix.
Mr. Vojtěch Koutný from Kladky, the Prostějov Region, also became a new owner of the Swifter seedbed cultivator.
