The AGRITECHNICA fair takes place once every two years in Hannover, Germany. It is the largest but also longest running event of its kind in the world. This year, the fair took place from the 12th to the 18th November. BEDNAR presented 6 new machines there.
The first two days at the fair are traditionally dedicated to dealers, investors and journalists and they are also called Preview Days. This year, BEDNAR had the most journalists from all over the world visiting the stand. We prepared a commentary of the new products and innovations on the Sunday. Most organised tours were managed by Ing. David Ryčl,Sales Manager for the Czech Republic and Poland. “Introducing new products at such an important fair is an opportunity to show our strength and balance with brands with a longer history in the field of agriculture,” he commented.
During the fair, customers had the opportunity to meet the sales representatives for their region. There were representatives for European markets as well as representatives from other world destinations. There were sales representatives from Canada, Australia and New Zealand providing information about the latest products..

What New Products Did BEDNAR Introduce?
The new OMEGA OO 8000L seed drill is 8 metres wide and thus expands the currently produced seed drills by 2 metres. The capacity of the plastic hopper increased by 500L, to almost 4,000L.
BEDNAR also introduced a brand new machine: The FERTI-CART FC 3500. It is a pressurized hopper cart with a capacity of 3,500L. It is used for comfortable direct application of fertilizers into soil horizons.
TERRASTRIP ZN 8R/45 is a new machine for row soil cultivation. It is an eight-mould-board plough with inter-row spacing of 45cm, ideal for processing sugar beet soil.
BEDNAR also presented the universal VERSATILE VO 6000 share cultivator at the fair. It is suitable for seedbed preparation of fields with a larger quantity of crop residue, or for intense stubble cultivation up to 15cm.
ATLAS AE 12400 is a new wide stubble cultivator for high daily outputs with cost savings. The machine has discs arranged in an X shape, which prevents drifting. Another advantage is the installation of the transport axle in front of the working discs.
The last machine that was first presented in Hannover was the innovated SWIFTER SO 6000L seedbed cultivator. The machine is able to prepare the field for seeding in a single pass. A great advantage is the overall spring loading of the working frames. It allows working at high speed of up to 15km/h.
