ATLAS HO is a heavy, compact, short disc cultivator of robust construction designed for stubble cultivation up to 18 cm with a large amount of post-harvest residue, deep stubble cultivation and stubble cultivation in heavy and dry soils.

X-precise, the new X-setting for the disc section that has the ability to regulate the working angle of the front disc row, enables it to follow the tractor tracks precisely.

The integrated axle ensures stability even at high speeds.

Benefits which result in savings

Portrait We grow over 1 500 ha of grain maize. We needed a disc cultivator which would till a large amount of matter and not clog. We did the whole area using the Atlas in autumn. The machine didn't clog and was able to till and turn a large amount of post-harvest residue in one pass. This was the main reason we decided on this model.

A level field after stubble cultivation

Stable tillage on a level field
A level field must be maintained both horizontally to the travelled direction, and along the travelled direction. To get a nice level ground without bumps, the machine must work in a calm and stable manner. Any undesirable movements of the machine caused by, e.g. oscillation, will create an uneven field. Bumpy land significantly complicates further working operations - spraying, fertiliser distribution or sowing. The BEDNAR ATLAS HO has a balanced centre of gravity thanks to its integrated axle in front of the rear packers. The machine works completely smoothly without oscillating. The designers have also left a large space between the rear disc row and the packers. The material formed by the discs falls in front of the packers instead of into the packers . This prevents oscillation or the packer clogging up.

The machine`s axle integrated also means a smaller turning radius at headlands compared to the traditional method of positioning the axle behind the rear packers.

MAINTENANCE-FREE PACKER BEARINGS

The rear packers on all BEDNAR machines are equipped with special encased maintenance-free bearings with a lifetime filling which ensure hassle-free machine operation.

MAINTENANCE-FREE DISC BEARINGS

Discs are set in axial ball bearings with lifetime filling. Tightness is ensured with a cassette ring which prevents dust and other dirt from getting into the bearing system.

HORIZONTAL DOUBLE SPRING NON-STOP DISC SECURING

Discs work on an arm with non-stop double spring securing. Springs are pre-loaded to 220 kg/disc. Double spring securing guarantees both problem-free operation in dry or stony conditions, and also increases the cutting abilities of the cultivator many times over.

EASILY CHANGE THE FRONT DISC ROW ANGLE

Changing the working angle is swift and simple. The disc tines are affixed to the frame and setting the frame position instantly changes the angle of the whole front disc row. Of the four cutting positions, you can set the whole front disc row fast and comfortably on the field in accordance with the current soil and climatic conditions.

X-PRECISE - SETTING WORKING SECTIONS TO AN X-SHAPE.

Although the ATLAS HO is a cultivator with individual springs for each disc arm, the machine is designed so that individual disc batteries are in an X formation. This setting balances certain forces and allows the cultivator to precisely follow the tractor`s tracks, or navigation. You no longer need to spend hours adjusting your cultivator - the solution is X-precise.

TWIN-DISC - GREATER THROUGHPUT

The discs work in pairs on one arm. This technical design means the distance between individual disc arms is greater (60 cm). This means greater space for material to pass through the machine. The machine can work smoothly even if your thresher has left clumps of straw, maize mulch on the land, or when the machine is working in high growth on uncultivated soils. The ATLAS HO cuts through plant material, pulls it out, mixes it with the soil and turns it over.
